http:Tulsa Symphony Orchestra and Carnegie Hall work together to provide our third, fourth, and fifth grade students with a wonderful curriculum developed by the Weill Foundation through Carnegie Hall. Each year for three years, our students learn to sing, move, and play soprano recorder with this curriculum. The culminating event is a concert that our students attend, and they perform with the orchestra from their audience seats! The curriculum includes outstanding orchestral music selections as well as selections from different parts of the world.
Our students will be attending their concert at the Performing Arts Center downtown at the beginning of March, 2018. The entire auditorium will be filled with students, so there is a separate concert which parents can attend. However, we will be needing chaperones on that day in March. So--if your student's teacher asks for chaperones, be ready to volunteer! It is an event you will never forget.
