November is National Native American Heritage Month. In celebration, Tulsa Public Schools continues special programming with activities for students, parents, and the community.

The Tulsa Public Schools Indian Education program is inviting the community to a screening of “Te Ata”. The film tells the life story of Te Ata Fisher, actress and citizen of the Chickasaw Nation.

The screening takes place Tuesday, November 30 at Admiral Twin Drive-In at 7355 E. Easton St. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the movie starts at 7:00 p.m.

The Indian Education program at Tulsa Public Schools provides critical resources and services to more than 3,000 students representing 52 Native American nations. For more information, visit www.tulsaschools.org/indianeducation
